How to prepare for SBI CLERK 2019 before the Prelims of SBI CLERK 2019?

SBI Clerk Prelims 2019 exam is preliminary stage of the selection process for the recruitment of 8904 vacancies for the post of SBI Clerk. This stage is referred to as “filtration process” where the deserving candidates having aptitude of basics and concepts for every topic are selected. It is followed by SBI Clerk Mains, which is really the “acid test” for the set of most deserving candidates.
Before planning any strategy for preparation of SBI Clerk Prelims 2019, it is important to understand the exam pattern. The candidates abilities will be tested in sections like English Language (30 Questions, 30 Marks, 20 Minutes), Numerical Ability (35 Questions, 35 Marks, 20 Minutes), Reasoning Ability  (35 Questions, 35 Marks, 20 Minutes), and the duration of the exam will be 1 hour (60 minutes). There will be sectional timing as well as negative marking (1/4th of mark will be deducted for wrong answer). You have to solve 100 questions in 1 hour where each question will be of 1 mark. The English section will test candidate’s basic reading and writing skills of English skills. It is therefore important to master English Grammar (Tenses, Articles, Prepositions, Subject-Verb Agreement, Parts of Speech, etc) and vocabulary properly. You should develop habit of reading English newspapers, magazines, novels, and books etc on daily basis. It will enhance your reading as well as vocabulary skills and will help you in solving questions from topics like Reading Comprehensions, Cloze Test, Sentence Rearrangement, Synonyms and Antonyms etc. 

The Reasoning Ability section will test candidate’s ability to solve verbal and non verbal reasoning questions. Hence, the students should try to understand the theory well and practice regularly by applying appropriate logics in getting accurate answers. The important topics to prepared are Syllogism, Data Sufficiency, Statement and Argument, Statement and Assumption, Blood Relations, Puzzle, Circular and Linear Sitting Arrangements, Assertion and Reasoning, Coding and Decoding, Directions and Distance, Order and Ranking, Coded Inequalities, Series, Analogy, Classification.
